Privacy and data processing
ToolHub does not require an account. Most tools process input entirely in your browser. When you send feedback, only the content you choose to submit, the current page, and language are sent to the ToolHub inbox; tool input is never included.
39 of 41 tools process input locally. Only 2 tools require a server request.
Browser-processed tools
These tools run with browser APIs and downloaded JavaScript. Their input stays on your device.
Server-processed tools
IP Location sends an IP address to ToolHub and one or more location providers when fallback is needed. Open Port Checker sends the public host and port to ToolHub so the server can attempt a connection. Requests are rate-limited and are not stored by the application. Submitted feedback is delivered by email to the ToolHub inbox; the application does not store feedback in a database.
Anonymous analytics
Cloudflare Web Analytics may collect aggregated page views, referrers, device categories, countries, and performance metrics. It does not receive tool input, use cookies, or support custom ToolHub events.
Local storage
ToolHub stores only your theme preference plus favorite and recently used tool IDs in local browser storage. Tool input is not stored. Clearing site data removes these preferences.
How to verify local processing
You do not need to trust a badge. A browser-processed tool should not send its input to ToolHub or a third party when it runs.
- Open the browser developer tools and select Network.
- Clear existing entries, then run the local tool with test input.
- Confirm that no request containing the tool input is sent to ToolHub or another server. Blob URLs used for local image downloads stay on the device.
Browser compatibility
Supported targets are Chrome 85+, Edge 85+, Firefox 80+, Safari 15+, and iOS Safari 15+. Exact file and memory capacity depends on the device and browser.
Input and file limits
Each tool page states its actual boundary. Text tools with a safety cap show a 2,000,000-character limit; image tools accept up to 20 files of 10 MB each. ToolHub does not claim large-file or offline support.
